Old People Driving

Everyday I drive down the streets of Mason City, old people happen to be driving right in front of me! It drives me insane!!! Well most of them drive me crazy. They never know how to push the accelerator, and go the speed limit. Old people always drive way to slow. What also gets me is when they take forever to turn the corner. They slow all the way down before they turn the corner. Then some even turn their turning signals on a mile before they turn the corner. It's so annoying. Especially when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere. I'm already running late and they are making it even worse. I will admit that some old people drive fast, but for the most part old people drive to darn slow!!! Also where these old people are driving, depends on how fast they go. I've ran into them on the interstate, and they drive in the fast lane like it's no big deal. Only until I approach them doing speed limit, and their in my way going only 55 miles per hour! That's when I get the most pissed off. I have to brake, just because they don't have no clue what there doing.  Then next is highways. I've ran into old people needing to turn into a restaurant, that happens to be right off the highway. But they don't do it the right way, they don't proceed into the turning lane. They just sit in the lane, and block traffic until there's no cars coming. Most of the time they wait until there is no cars a mile down the road. Lastly comes the fact that they never know what they are doing. They never drive speed limit, turn corners right, use their turning signals at the appropriate times, and especially the fact that they just drive WAY TO SLOW!!!!!

Moving...Good or Bad?

I've been recently told that we are going to be moving to the country. Not just outside of Mason City, but all the way to Marble Rock. Well it's between Rockford, Iowa, and Marble Rock, Iowa. This six bedroom house is located on a street called, Kirkwood Avenue! Yes! I said it was six bedrooms:) We have a huge family though. My family includes my dad, my mom, my brother, my sister, my grandma, my two cousins, my dog, and I. That's eight people, and out pet dog! My cousins aren't always staying with us though, but everyone else stays at my house on a daily basis:)!
When I think about this move to the country, I try to think about the good things. I came up with some things, and there all positive! First off is the fact that we won't be in Mason City anymore. I've always hated this town, but I don't exactly know why. Second is the fact that I still get to stay at Mason City High School. Our school might not be the best, but it's better than moving to a whole new different school. If I went to Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock, then I would only know one person. That person would be Becca Broerman, but she's only a freshman! Third is that I will live in a bigger house, and more room to practice my dance routines. Lastly comes the fact that I will have an Iowa Hawkeye bedroom:) I'm in love with the Hawkeyes!
When it comes to the negative side of moving,  I have my reasons. My first reason is huge! I won't be in the same neighborhood as my wife:( Also I won't be near my best friend Bria:( She already lives like 15 miles from my house. She also lives in the country, but outside of Manly. Second comes the fact that I will have to get up at the crack of dawn. My parents have to be at work by a quarter to eight at the latest. I will arrive at school around 7:30 every morning. My dad works all the way over by B20, and my mom works most of the time at the Forest Park Clinic. That's just next to the hospital. When she works at Peds Clinic, she has to drive all the way out by Walmart. My parents therefore work miles apart. Third is that I won't be able to be close to my friends. Fourth is that I have dance every Monday night until Ten O'clock. My dad bowls on league on Monday nights, and gets done at 9:30 pm. He then would pick me up, and then we would be on our way home. We would arrive home around 10:45, and then have to get up early the next morning. Those all are reasons why we shouldn't move!

When I think about moving, it makes me mad, happy, and sad at the same time. I really don't wanna go through the hassle of moving all my stuff. Were planning on moving room by room though, so we can get stuff put away as we move it in. Therefore we will have it all situated when were all the way moved in. Spring break is also a time when we will be able to move a lot of stuff, so then I don't have to worry about school. Also I would be able to help move all our stuff to the country. This move is going to be a good, and bad thing at the same time. Hopefully it will go better than I think it will though!:)
